Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Your privacy matters to me. This page explains, in plain language, what personal information Unlocking Space Hypnotherapy collects, why, and how it is protected, in keeping with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Person responsible for your information

What I collect

  • Contact details you give me, such as your name, email address and phone number.
  • Booking details when you schedule a free consultation.
  • What you share with me as a client — your intake form, session notes, and any health or personal history you choose to share.

Why I collect it

Only to answer your questions, book and run our sessions, tailor the work to you, issue receipts, and keep the records my professional association requires. I collect it with your consent and use it only for these purposes. I never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Only me. I will not share your information without your consent, except where the law requires it — for example, if there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or someone else, or a concern for a child’s safety.

Where it is stored

I use a few trusted services to run my practice: Google (email and forms), TidyCal (booking), Zoom (online sessions) and Hostinger (this website). Some of these may store information outside Quebec. I protect your information with reasonable safeguards, such as password-protected accounts and devices.

How long I keep it

Only as long as needed to provide my services and meet professional record-keeping requirements. After that, it is securely destroyed.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your information, withdraw your consent, or ask me to stop using or delete it where the law allows. Just email me — I will reply within 30 days. If you have a concern about how your information is handled, please tell me so I can make it right. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

This website

This site does not use advertising cookies. My website host, Hostinger, may collect basic technical information (such as anonymous visit statistics) to keep the site running. If you contact me or book through the site, I receive only what you choose to send.

If something goes wrong

If a privacy incident ever puts your information at risk of serious harm, I will let you and the Commission d’accès à l’information know promptly.

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
